Bombardier Launches the New Rally 200 ATV

VALCOURT, QUEBEC-- FEBRUARY 19, 2002 - 16:10 EST

This New Quad Expands Bombardier's ATV Lineup and Serves Specific
Market Needs

Bombardier Recreational Products is becoming a player in the
entry-level segment by introducing the Rally(TM) 200. The Rally
200 joins the utility-targeted Traxter(R) ATV, the DS650(TM) ATV
sport models, the sport-utility Quest(TM) and the youth-oriented
ATVs in the growing lineup of Bombardier(R) ATVs.

The Bombardier Rally 200 is a full-size, value-priced Bombardier
ATV destined to become the ultimate entry-level runabout. This ATV
combines some of the best elements of the existing Bombardier
models: the reliability of the hard-working Traxter and the fun of
the DS650 for riding around the trails. In fact, it really offers
the best of both worlds at an incredible price point to appeal to
new buyers. The lightweight Rally 200 offers many industry-leading
features for its class, such as a unique Surrounding Spar
Technology (SST(TM)) frame with an ultra-narrow underside to
minimize contact in rough terrain. The Rally 200 is also the only
ATV in its class with a continuously variable transmission (CVT)
to give its great get-on and go capability and smooth
auto-transferability. Exclusive Bombardier benefits, including
front and back storage compartments with built-in bins, and
floorboards, round out the convenience, durability and fresh
appeal of this tough four-stroke.

"The Rally 200 is ideal for newcomers to the ATV experience; it is
the perfect runabout that combines fun, reliability and the
ability to do light-duty chores like no other in its segment,"
noted Pierre Arsenault, Vice President, Marketing, Snowmobiles,
Watercraft and ATVs.

Bombardier Recreational Products designs, develops, builds,
distributes and markets Ski-Doo(R) and Lynx(R) snowmobiles,
snowgrooming equipment and multi-purpose tracked vehicles,
Bombardier(R) all-terrain vehicles, Sea-Doo(R) watercraft and
sport boats, Bombardier Fish Hawk(TM) fishing boats as well as the
Evinrude(R) and Johnson(R) outboard marine engines and the Ficht
Ram Injection(R) technology. Snowmobiles, ATVs, watercraft and
some sport boats are powered by Rotax(R) engines that are designed
and built by Bombardier-Rotax GmbH, which also builds motors for
motorcycles, scooters, karts and aircraft.

Bombardier Inc., a diversified manufacturing and service company,
