ST Trading update: my current position is (a) trading account all cash (b) intermediate trading (months) 40% cash covered calls: mxim, lltc and altr expired still holding stocks( written on Jan 18), amat stocks called away. made about 29k in account (b) In account a mxim stocks got called away. lots of st trading in mxim. ytd update 20% up in trading account ( could be day trading or few days) and intermediate trading account (weeks to months, covered calls) up about 22%. Don't know which style is better. Most trades are posted real time on this thread except mxim day and very short term trades. I hope my long silence is over. Waiting for the next move. Gut feeling for next two weeks: a downwards bias. Will get buying opportunity in two to three weeks. Amat, nvls, mxim, lltc, altr,xlnx will be range bound for a while, great chance for st trading or covered calls. Nothing to drive the market except fear and high valuations!!! Will post relevant trades here. kdavy
