I agree. But let's be frank here, John. You know as well as I do that if companies were forced to account for stock options expense on the income statement, then stock options proliferation as a form of compensation would come to a halt and reverse course dramatically. The simple reason is that these costs are huge, much more so than increasing salaries across the board, say 30%. As a shareholder, I want them to quit. If I was an employee, I'd say bring them on and shareholders be darned.
