I did not perceive anything negative in your post and certainly nothing came across as "against" me. I hope my response didn't come across negatively either.

Warp,
My reaction is to stay away from the stocks that have held up while their associates have fallen. I don't know that I would be picking on AMAT, since I think that the weaker cousins are probably much "safer" shorts. You can almost throw a dart at the semi equip small/mid caps to find a "good" short candidate under the current market environment. Not that AMAT won't drop from here, I just believe that there are better places to be short.
