Bund bluster on gold, pure control games
central banks despise gold, since it is real money
since it competes with printing press money
taking money out of the economy in safe places like precious metals is the ultimate insult to central bankers
out of banks, where gaurantees are ending
out of stocks, which are imploding
out of bonds, which will soon soon
out of debt instruments, which have gone bad

this war will heat up, big time big time big time
mark my words

The gold plunge has come in the wake of comments from Bundesbank President Welteke, who said that Germany wants to "slowly" sell some of its gold to move into assets that offer a return beyond potential capital appreciation.

If I had that much gold to sell, I'm not sure I would tell the world that I plan on selling it.

That would only drive the price down further wouldn't it?

I think I would sell it while it's high and afterwards let the world now what I did...

There might be some sort of ulterior motive behind that announcement.
