Yeah, probably a great big waste of my time.

I may have mentioned a special event regarding donations to the American Red Cross Liberty Fund and local (Central Texas) public safety organizations post 9/11 that I worked on that was a smashing success ... notably without the presence of the illustrious governor and all Republican officials who were invited ... involving a trade association of merchants who happen to be Shiite Muslims.

Rick Perry requires a minimum of 60-day advance notice to 'do anything.'

It's hell being stuck in this state.

Except for the weather. <g>

And the 'communistic' Austin climate.

I wonder, though, if the liberal complexion may be changing, as high tech continues to roll up its blankets ... and fold up its tents entirely (software/dot.coms) here.

AMD, MOT, IBM, DELL, AMAT ... and associated contractors/supply chain.

We might lose all of the 'communists.'
