This "new development has been trotted out to try to quell the slaughter the Israelis are taking. It is an appeasement, just as the American Government used the call for a Palestinian homeland, as they were about to commence bombing Afghanistan. As soon as the mission was on it's way and secured, the story about a Palestinian homeland changed. The Arabs are not so foolish as our hard-hitting journalists and corporate media outlets like to portray them. The Israelis plead for the US to ignore Arafat, the Arabs will make peace for land AND Sharon's job. Sharon did not know from nothing about Sabra and Shatilla and Arafat knew nothing about the "ship of terror". The dance of destruction continues...
