Doldrums - no recovery in sight this goes on till business picks up visibly. Simple. Nothing to do with T/A or P/C ratios or any of that it is simply a function of no growth in earnings or revenues for most of the companies.

But business will pick up if not in this qtr then inthe next and all this gloom will evaporate.

Some people are making $bns in ths market. This time its the shorts.
