i do agree there is probably variation in QoS depending on locale. i must say it was a stake in my QCOM cheerleader's heart when i realized how dissatisfied i was w/their local service here.

In Southern California, undoubtedly the Sprint service and coverage are improving with time. There are still a few geographical dead or weak zones, but well defined. Other than those the service is great. I think I have had one or two dropped calls in the last month. We use our phones a lot. Call quality is great.
