"Thanks, Isn't Tice the second largest holder of DROOY as far as the funds go? DROOY finised 8 cents off the lows for the day at 2.63 from 2.55 hmmmmm. I am still holding the golds and looking to re-enter bearx given the opportunity. Thanks again for the info."

May well be, if you say so, though I would think some precious metals funds might have been deeper into it.

In any case, the major moves in BEARX are from short positions, with an extra boost lately from the precious metals. It's hard to know the exact size of that component since some of the calls and warrants may have appreciated a great deal lately and may lose ground on a day like this. But I think the entire PM exposure is on the order of 6-8%, even after appreciation.

I used not to be happy with Tice's bet on gold at all, but seems OK now.
