Curious why you going with optionxpress?

I havnt traded in a few years so was about to wire my old account some money but wanted to ask the 'help desk' some account questions, I was on hold for 35 mins and then I hung up. This was after the trading day is over mind you.

It might be time for a new broker.

I'm going to be trading mostly stocks and options.

i'm going to open an account at Optionsxpress...trading starts at 8:00AM...

Has anyone tried trading that early with IB? In general, if an exchange is operating IB has access. I was watching this morning, and though I did not try to trade it looked like I was seeing activity.
