Something better to do than engage in acts of vandalism and harassment, or go to court to ram Nazis down the throats of Holocaust survivors. Everything in context.
"....everyone needs some opportunities for refreshment and conviviality, and most of them are pretty harmless.
Better my fanatic should hang- out with a few friends and engage in tomfoolery." It was not about purely personal behavior or mere frivolity.

If they think that "Heather" should be higher on their agenda than the improvement of classroom discipline or teacher training, more power to them. Sorry, but introducing age inappropriate material into the classroom against parental wishes does not stack up against a concern for the debasement of human life through permissive abortion. I cannot imagine anyone seriously suggesting that they are equivalent. Nor have I questioned the moral seriousness of those who believe in abortion rights. I mentioned no such issue in the piece.

Glower away. That is a different matter than what I was writing about.

You may be right, it may convince no one. On the other hand, it might make some people who are more serious wonder about the things they get caught up in. Who knows?

Since you objected to the overall framework, which was my main point, I am a little confused about the alleged support. But thanks for the discussion, anyway......
