"Intel made money the last two quarters while AMD lost
money. Appears that your "blinkers" are permanently attached. <ggg>"

Maybe it is you with blinkers voluntarily duct-taped?
Intel uses an accounting loophole that allows to shelter
out $1B per quarter of money drains into stock buybacks.
Subtract those $1 billion per each 8 recent consecutive quarters,
and you may have a more realistic idea how well
Intel did in the price war, who has lost, and how much.
In the wake of Enron collapse, I hope you might enjoy
an effect of expected changes in accounting rules...

Yousef, AMD gains and gains, advances 2 feet and slips back 1, but gains inexorably over time.
You remind me of daffy duck being eaten by a snake feet first, at first reason and bluster, then as the shoulders go some concern is heard in the voice, soon there will just be the babbling beaks, and then silence.
