It seems to me the BtB data fell somewhere in between the definition of "good or bad". The number shows a slight gain for the last few months - at least it is not going down. Bookings are up slightly, but not enough to really notice it or have an impact on increasing activity at the semi-equip companies. Next month, the last 2 months worth of data will be revised anyway to give slightly different answers on Bookings, Billings and BtB. Maybe next month the data will show a significant uptick?

Today was very negative for the semiconductor area. Out of the group of 29 stocks, 28 were down - only UTEK was up by $0.07, or 0.46 percent. Overall, the group was down by 3.6 percent. All 16 stocks in the SOX were down - overall the decline was 3.55 percent. The NASDAQ was down 3 percent for the day.

We need a better day tomorrow!<gg>
