Ken: ORCL is sure getting close to the long predicted 13's.... closer then I would have thought.
I see you are calling ORCL a buy here. Cash vs Debt.

Have been very busy lately and have not kept up to speed on the thread, so if I missed something said about ORCL, that is why.

I think ORCL is a very solid company. More so then it's given credit for ( ie, stock price )

This is a company that has the were with all to challenge Microsoft, and IBM. I wish ORCL would take the risk and challenge Microsoft/IBM on more levels then it currently does, and does so well.
I don't think there is much of a chance that ORCL cooks the books, like so many others do.!

Sergio: Need sons website again so I can leave message for him.

Ken: build it...., and they did not come....> LOL. I like that! Thats so true!

I am adding to ORCL in the AM.

Me.

Hi Ken,

I'm not so sure that market leaders are going to be a "safe haven" during the coming months. A general distrust is growing among investors ..... and it is my guess that if mutual fund / 401K investors see another quarter of losses, they will begin the flow of funds out of stocks, even further limiting the possibility of growth.

The late 80s - 90s boom is over. That timeframe was unprecedented in market history. Surely, there has to be a retreat ..... maybe also of an unprecedented nature. If history tells us anything, I think we are going to suffer til 2003. If I recall, isn't the Nas 100 without positive earnings as a whole right now ? In addition, I would not be surprised to see the likes of AOL and MSFT crumble on accounting issues. I would not be surprised to see Nas 1300 or so this year.

The only place I really see holding is long term healthcare, maybe gold, oil is going up soon. Did 60% gainer in HAL over two weeks. Plenty of Enronitis out there. The winners will be the folks who have the knowledge to decifer company accounting records. Wall Street analysts are a joke and almost never present the negatives. Goldman Sachs, for example recommending Enron at $34 with target of $48 shortly before you know what. I think half of the recos from the street are to save their own firms ass .... stuck in a stock position.

That is why I am looking at cash in hand .....

As an aside, my current favorite for explosion potential LNOP ..... I am out at the moment but am ready to go in at a moment's notice.

This is why this stock has exploder potential:

Ken, I'll start posting daily winners so that you don't worry about me sulking or licking my wounds. OK, here goes...CARS neared 52 week high today.

Sulking potential, if I were worried, came from CLGY today. Down below 200 day MA on low volume. I don't give a damm. Stock is good.

Thanks for worrying about me amigo.
