So you would make Ned Beatty start squealing like a pig if he saw you?

No. He'd tremble at the site of me. Gloop would make him squeal. <g>

You say your daughter isn't going to pick up a banjo, do you play one?

Not yet. Not to "toot my own horn", but I do play a number of instruments. Main thing is bass. And my daughter and I play trumpet together for about half an hour or so nearly every night.

Why do you feel the need to have so many ponds?

I just like them. I also like digging holes. Guy thing. <g>

Do you fish in them, and are any large enough for a boat?

One is full of large-mouth bass and prey fish. Very nice fishing in that one. Two over the others have goldfish and koi in them. Koi are a hobby of mine. Oh, and the ducks. They're at the bigger of the two koi ponds. Definitely love my duckies. However, I've told my daughter that if she's going to name them, call them "original", "extra crispy" or any chinese-sounding name.

The lake is big enough for a small boat but it'd get boring. We're planning to get paddleboats and canoes for it, though.

Do you still work on computers all the time, or has that slacked off for the time being?

As you might or might not know, I'm the president and code monkey of a competing message-board site now. I probably code about 10 hours per day right now. And don't expect that pace to let up soon enough.

Do you ever do any farming, or merely push the dirt around your 40 acres????

Technically, it's a farm, but it's not one in the conventional sense. Only crop is trees. I do selectively harvest them, though.
