I think you do understand my intent. While I'm not an ultra conservative by any stretch, I DO think it is important to eliminate gray area whenever it is possible to do so. I do tend to see things in black and white terms. Stark right and wrong. Where there is a thin line between right and wrong, you have to internally create a thick, black line and get on one side or the other. If one tries really hard, he can almost always end up on the side of right. While there are challenges (the Yates murder trial calls for the death penalty for a person who clearly was deranged), I think by being reasonable an eliminating ties to a specific dogma one can support righteous outcomes. Also, I do believe that liberals generally exhibit lesser intellect, of which I am admittedly intolerant. Occasionally you'll find a "smart" liberal (maybe an Alan Dershowitz) who simply doesn't get it. But for the most part, to believe that liberalism is a good thing you just have to be not-so-sharp or you have to have not given much thought to the issues. Liberalism is built on lies and hypocrisy. For example, if you take even the most moderate liberal (Joe Lieberman), he criticizes Bush for supporting these truthful and harmless ads in South Dakota, while he could not bring himself to denounce the NAACP ad against Bush in the election. I am intolerant of this behavior, and intolerant of a news media that does not call him to account for his actions. By always seeing a wide gulf between the parties, you eliminate these problems. When a Lieberman acts in this way, you don't have to ponder for a microsecond about whether his actions were justifiable -- you can immediately discern his actions were inappropriate. I do not believe in mincing words to extend an argument. Perhaps my phraseology might be thought of as an alternative to obscenity for showing my utter and total disgust for liberalism. You must understand, however, that I don't feel the need to apply these terms to the typical liberal. But some are just so far out of the realm of reasonableness (tejek, for example) that they just really come across as not having good sense).
