I see flat to slow recovery too ....

Unless some sort of domino effect crushes the markets.

I'm sort of in line with Zeev's Turnips for now. These selloffs seem to last 7 - 9 weeks. We're in week 7 now. NASDAQ 1680 - 1720 maybe ? S&P 500 = 1060 ?

But unlike Zeev, I don't expect any rally that moves the 50 dEMA above the 200 dEMA until this summer -- or maybe October. Will that happen at NASDAQ 1800ish or 1600ish, I really don't know. The last time the 50 dEMA was above the 200 dEMA was Sept 2000. At the time the 200 dEMA was 4000. It's now 2000.

So I'm guessing that during this next bottom, it will be safe to go long, even if there's yet another retest of the 1998 lows. Lots of volatility to be sure, but the trend will be like 5 steps forward - 4 steps back, lol.

Unless some sort of domino effect crushes the markets.

Regards,
Chris
