Yes -- and if the markets break their 1998 lows, which were successfully tested on Sept 20/21, 2000. The VIX indicators hit multiday historic levels during that capitulation.

By the way, most of my markets thoughts are 1) based on my belief that "The Bubble" began in Oct 1998 and 2) The trend line from 1991 - 1994 is representative of the trendline for the market from the 1950s (the last time I looked, it sure seemed to be) and therefore I expect it to continue -- with maybe a few bumps along the way.
