What I meant by that statement is that it appears he is the product of a group of men, probably headed by Cheney and his father, who make the key decisions and then pablum feed it to Bush Jr. I think that's why he makes so many mistakes speaking.......he doesn't "own" what he is saying. Look, GWB is a smart fellow. He may not be 'slick' like Clinton/Gore, but there is substance there. You can try and deny it all you want, but being President requires leadership and decision making skills. The fact that he is such a good manager that he surrounds himself with the best and brightest does not mean that he isn't in charge. Don't you all think its more than a little coincidental that Bush Jr. has basically the same cabinet as his father? And I know his father created that cabinet, not Bush Jr. Frankly, I think Bush Jr. seems to be an okay guy who is not too smart and not too dumb....sort of like the three bears' porridge. ted
