ACF, My 7 year itch speculation was strictly a provocative view as to when Mr. Market would recover his blind faith in the stock market to the extent that a "plunge" wouldn't seem so silly. It wasn't a prediction as to the state of the general economy here in Central North America, which, demographics being what they are, should appear to all to be the start of a long slide as the mongoose of the baby boomers wends its way through the penultimate section of the alimentary duct of the population snake.
