Let's see

AMAT just chimed in at CSFB..."9:29AM Applied Materials says they are taking share (AMAT) 45.80: During their CSFB technology conference presentation, AMAT's CFO says that they expect growth in 2H02 over 1H, and that the co is taking share in virtually every product category, particularly in metrology and inspection (albeit from a small base, but watch competitor KLAC and other metrology co's for a possible reaction to this news)."

then
09:48 ET KLA-Tencor optimistic about current quarter (KLAC) 57.38 -1.09: -- Update -- During their CSFB technology conference presentation, KLAC's CFO says that mkt in leading-edge technology is currently supply-constrained, as sell-through of leading-edge chips is better than expected; co feels optimistic about current qtr, believes they can pick up mkt share in 0.13 and copper segments.

Everybody is gaining market share.
