True, this was my point. It's the point people miss when they talk about residential real estate as if it were only an investment. When you buy a house you are choosing a home, you are choosing to live a particular life style, where you want your kids to take their first step, where you want to wake up in the morning and drive home to at the end of the work day, you are choosing your own little piece of paradise. While you can't ignore the investment aspect it should be secondary to all the other stuff.
