Growth is not the issue. The only issue is that (Sprint PCS) has closed it's eyes to reality. Out of sheer insanity, they have made a series of bad decisions not to secure financing for 2002. This has left them hanging onto the mercy of the credit market. Yields on Sprint bonds have risen to over 9%, as the vultures fly over the carcass. They will have to pay dearly for their commercial paper, given the tight spot.
