Maybe management hasn't given you enough to do. Could it be that you're stationed in a dead-end union job with low expectations and responsibilities, and too much free time? With union-bargained wages and benefits so you're not challenged?

Why don't you go meet some of those "faceless suits at corporate," get to know their faces, and let them get to know yours? You might find that they're people, too.
