My conspiracy is good vs evil, and evil does exist.

And I think that quoting Ezekiel 22:25, and other parts of the article, suggest that it is not an organized conspiracy, where every member is conscious that they are part of a conspiracy to destroy democracy. They are unwitting accomplices.

Careful. Next thing you know you will have said that IBM is a conspiracy. Analogies, metaphors, and the like are risky hereabouts...
