LOL. I get a kick out of the debate too. That's why I periodically push John's buttons. Being off the table isn't a bad move either, depending on where you are at in your horizon. Being off the table is not good for me right now. I have to get a little more than double my money in the next ten years if I want to retire, so money market funds just aren't going to do it for me. :)

As far as these accounting smoke screens being fed to the masses, I love it. It reminds me of the Asian financing scandal a few years back that provided many of us a great buy opportunity. I'm still buying, so when we come out of this dip, I'll be sitting pretty. Sadly, though, I'm not buying individual stocks anymore. Although, I may make an exception for Cisco, if it goes below my target of $15. We'll see. Good luck, Eric!
