I can see how they might be a pain. By the way, I have a very large head (biggest hat size), and got the largest frames I could, and they still had to tweak them out. They still have a little strain when I put them on.....

Having worn glasses from the time I get up til the moment I go to bed for most of forty years I can only say you paint too pretty a picture. ggg Especially painful have been those times, mercifully few, when I caught a vollyball, basketball, elbow, etc. in the face. Never had stitches but plenty of blood. And now I need bifocals - drat!!! Unfortunately the idea of putting something in my eye, i.e. contacts, has always made my skin crawl.
