I don't buy that the market suddenly reversed 300 points in the span of 1 hour, for no reason whatsoever This is what Mish predicted, right? A plunge followed by a nosebleed rocketship that gets people drinking the koolaid again. First time this year I'm long QQQ so I'm sure hoping he's right about the puts getting taken out all the way to 40!

So today's rally was the fastest and quickest KIS, You have commented frequently on some of the appalling facts about the world and USA stock markets. I think you are essentially correct in your views. The onset of bear market conditions is supposed to be volatile. Sharp ramps and sharper bigger drops. It's a matter of having a plan imho. This is the casino. I feel happier keeping a core position of gold miners and will add to them on the dips.
