That is the point. The court won't let you show, and OJ already has proof, from the verdict in 95 that he was innocent.


If he sues me he opens himself to anything I might want to show to defend myself (unless the judge rules it not relevant and if he has too heavy of hand here he opens himself up for appeal). But actually if I show nothing, and he shows nothing I win. If he sues me for slander or libel then I am the one accused. He has to prove his case. Since he is a public figure he has to show that I either deliberately lied or acted with reckless disregard for the truth. If he can not show evidence to support such a claim then I don't even have to defend myself.
