Help on faltering "A: drive. My old puter, micron P2 266, seems to have a dysfunctional A drive. I can read what is on a floppy via My Computer, but i cannot access any files on the floppy nor write to it I have tried several different floppies. The machine and A drive were working fine until i got my new dell. maybe old betsy is pissed at me.
I run win 95 on the micron, no longer have the cable modem hooked to it, nor the printer. Also, the A drive makes funny, chewing type noises, sometimes. any ideas. is it new A drive time? i have some files on the old puter, that i have emailed to myself using aol. larry
