I appreciate your honest response... Basically the argument I'm trying to make is the very reticence you express about purchasing your own home is beginning to permeate your next "market" of buyers.

People instinctively know that the rate of increase price of housing is unsustainable (especially in light of relatively stagnant earnings).....ultimately the market will right itself as the dynamic of supply and demand come into play.

As I've stated before, I don't expect a "market crash" in real estate, but I do believe that overall prices will regress or remain static as we reach greater equilibrium between buyers and sellers.
