The 50% increase was for final manufacturing equipment.

What does that mean?

I understand the book-to-bill is just for semi equipment, not the chips. So are you saying the 50% increase is for a subset of that equipment, and is not in any way a measure of chip production?

I have stated elsewhere throughout the last few months of reports that a rising ratio in the face of declining orders is nothing to get excited about, since billings must necessarily decline if orders continue to drop. At least the last couple of months have shown a modest increase in orders.
