Congratulations on making a wise move! You are right, the VIX readings are very low. The frogs are not afraid; they will happily keep singing until they get nicely cooked!

There are some signs that the economy perked up in Q4. But the market seems to know what is in store for techs... especially big techs. The Nasdaq 100 has done worse than the Nasdaq Composite since March 2000, and more so since Jan 1, 2001, and also since Jan 1, 2002. Any rallies here will be the result of dumb money trying to get in before the "next" great bull market "begins" :-)

There is a possibility that we will see the Nasdaq 100 (currently at 1408) approach or even go below the S&P 500 (currently at 1098). It could happen at levels of 850 or so. Possibly later this year...
