Casseroles. Wow. That bespeaks commitment, an acceptance of finality. But like Mel Blanc's desert bird, the life support equipment emits a saucy "Beep, beep" and keeps on ticking. I must post more often about the offspring. My motive is selfish: getting you talking (OK, posting) about your kids is an unconditionally GOOD thing. I remember being vaguely disgusted at a visiting couple's 2 1/2 yr old boy when they visited when Helen was, oh, four months old. MY MY MY child would NEVER behave so lousily. Well guess what. We lucked out with teh Helenator ... she's been pretty even-tempered all around, but Tom is a double handful when The Agony of Being Two strikes with full force. "I need your clothes, your boots and your stroller."
