Hey JimP, HC couldn't get above 13.20 again. Hopefully the third time is a charm.

No, I wouldn't do that, Jim.... on the other hand, you don't necesarily have to spend every moment wincing and/or cheering....

I told y'all I would check in from time to time....and the operative term for the day is "y'all", as you will see...

I am currently pursuing a dream I have had since I was in my teens. I am writing from a computer in the central library in Nashville, TN.

A certain slithery ex-memeber of a now wasted thread thought it would be insulting to label me as a 'poet'. I took it as a compliment. Over the years I have written many fragments to songs, and only a couple of finished products.

I am currently holed up in a hotel down here finishing them. Just blew in yesterday, tonight I will be hanging out at a local haunt I got steered to.

May be nothing more than a 'middle aged crazy' pipe dream. But then, so was investing in oil and making bundles. If anything I do ever hits the charts, I'll let you know...

I appreciated all who responded to my comments on time to opt out of the heavy trading. Currently have positions full positions in PGO and DOW, a and a double one in HAL. I know the stories in each and am very comfortable sleeping.

I just peeked in, Jim, and am indeed somewhat 'richer'!!!!

Question to the thread... I don't have the symbols handy, but my father came up with a list of about 4 REIT's paying dividends in the 9-10% rate/year....

The prices have also been appreciating somewhat. With low interest rates, would this be like buying real estate at the top? I would love to put, say, 20% of the port in something returing such a nice dividend.

Comments appreciated, but please respond to my post, as I won't have time to peruse the entire thread...

Much regards, and remember to dream while you are awake..
