Fairchild Semiconductor Hikes Revenue Guidance

Boston, Feb 20, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Fairchild Semiconductor International (FCS) today said it is recording improved order rates, and it raised its revenue guidance for first quarter 2002.
The company now expects its first quarter revenue to be roughly flat from fourth quarter levels. Fairchild had previously guided first quarter revenues to be down 3% to 5% sequentially. Stock has not traded in the pre-market. Closing data from NYSE below.
