Of course your economies are screwed up. You've got Europeans running them, that's why. No pity here, you socialists deserve the economic stew your in. Instead of running around foaming at the mouth about Jewish conspiracies and Anti-American jealousy rages, your energies would be vastly better off, eliminating the problems which cause these problems. Allow companies to hire and fire, change your telecommunications acts to be less prohibative, get government out of business way, lower taxes, cut stupid socialist programs, reduce vacation time and develop a work ethic and perhaps you to can find out that it is possible to run a country and sometimes have practically zero real unemployement (around 4%).

BTW, anything you wrote, doesn't take away from my basic premise that economics really suck in the Arab world, and I believe is a major factor in ME friction. Israel's success (even at 11% unemployment) highlights the vast differences between modern economic policies in a country and the policies as practiced by the fundementalists.

And although my investing style may lead some people to agree with your assessment of my economic forte, I feel pretty much at home with Macroeconomics.

You brought the article focusing with glee on Israel's economic plight, which basically stressed unemployment. I countered that the problem in relation to the neighborhood is very mild. You countered back that Israel doesn't really have a problem, look at Europe. And then you have the audacity to say I don't understand Economics. I may not know French (who cares, the language should be banned globally anyway), but I do know a fool when I see one. My eyes are keenly focused on you, fool.
