Chip sector getting hit for some reason, but not to worry POS still rules the waves -lol-

Chip sector suffers from Intel slide
The chip sector is among the weakest areas within the technology arena, led by a 5.5 percent slide in sector bellwether Intel (INTC) . The Phlx Semiconductor Index ($SOX) is falling giving up 3.1 percent, with 15 of its 16 components seeing red. Intel, down $1.72 at $29.72 is the biggest percentage loser of the bunch, and the Thursday's most-active stock with 10.5 million shares traded, after Banc of America cut 2002 earnings estimates for the company. Analyst Douglas Lee cited indications that increased supply may put pressure on pricing (see 8:43 item). Among other more-active SOX members, Applied Materials (AMAT) is losing $1.35 to $45.22, Altera (ALTR) is shedding $1.04 to $21.14, KLA-Tencor (KLAC) is $1.57 lower at $58.20 and Xilinx (XLNX) is down $1.50 at $35.83. The lone gainer is Rambus (RMBS) , up 4 cents at $5.88.
