I don't even know why I'm looking at things from a hardware standpoint.
AOL is crashing and times are changing.
MSFT will let you activate your XP software and you'r stuck with that configuration? Well maybe? Maybe Not?
I'm confused ...Mr Softy is confusing me.
It's like one minute they tell me it's tied to the hardware address....The next minute they say it's intuitively smart enough to make you call stinkin' microsoft after you change your nic card ..(your BIOS chugs a lug nut)...and you can't start your stinkin' system.
WELL if 10,000 people change their stinkin' nic card...We all call microsnaups and ask them if they can turn our system back on...GEE. Tell me again why i care about hardware. Oh i'm confused.
