<<...stock price is a reflection of the perceived worth, a function of the price people are currently willing to pay for a portion of the company. It is not a measure of the ongoing viability of the concern....>>

The wild card, of course, is that the price could be plummeting day after day because there might be information known to some but not all that is driving the sell-off of what appears on the surface as a great opportunity to buy in. The now all-too-familiar 'turd at the bottom of the punchbowl'. Exactly the type of situation that has cost many their hard earned funds over the past coupla' years.

At some point, maybe now, the risk of that being the case balances to the reward of it not, but most folks aren't very interested in crap shoots at the moment. Folks are still delousing themselves after experiencing the 'great opportunity' of participating in Enron, Global Crossing, et al.

........VVVVVVV (looking to add, patiently)

CSFB -- we think Leap, Harvey White are lying -- I just want to get this "in print."

Someone posted this over on the Yahoo Leap Wireless message board

Forward Guidance

WOW, major difference between CSFB (Cynthia Motz) and company guidance.
This should get interesting.

---snip---

Motz continues to believe the company's subscriber base churn will be a volatile
metric. She notes the pressure on the wireless sector over the past couple of
months, and she doesn't believe Leap Wireless will achieve 2002 guidance of a $75
million EBITDA loss; instead, Motz sees a $235.2 million EBITDA loss. Finally,
she says the company's debt and equity are volatile. Motz widened her $15.47 loss
2002 estimate to a $20.20 loss.

Company's guidance is more credible since they risk lawsuits if wrong.

Total panic selling.

Jeff:

See Sawtooth's response. This decline leaves me with the feeling that we are missing something (eg. GSTRF).

Perhaps we are not.

One thing though, it is becoming apparent that when market cap declines to this degree, access to credit deteriorates--no matter how strong the business plan and current execution of the plan.

Don't mean to be so pessimistic--I am a fan of LEAP--though not a current owner. I have followed it since inception.
