You are right I haven't provided links. This is not a controversial point, only politically incorrect. I will get back to this, but not right now.

Even if the opposition of a Jewish leader had been the decisive factor, that would not have been the fault of the refugees.

Correct. It is not the fault of the Jewish masses, it is the fault of the Zionists. On the other hand, modern day Israelis vote for the policies that punish the Palestinians for existing and for opposing their malicious forefathers.

But you have not established as "fact" that Zionists were the decisive factor in preventing them from doing so, because there was considerable anti-semitism at work in the U.S.A. as well.

And isolationism, and protectionism, and general anti-immigrant feeling as well. There was a tight quota system on all immigration. Prior to and during WWII, the State Department kept almost all Jewish refugees out of the USA. Remember the St. Louis?

After the war, a few more were allowed in, but still in very limited numbers.
