Fyo,

Yes, I know Borland, Turbo Pascal, Turbo C, C++ etc. Those were the very first PC tools I have worked with. But I have worked with other tools whose makers are no longer with us. And it's not like Borland is taking over the world.

Borland isn't just any old "tool vendor". They've always had some of the best compilers and development environments around. Remember Turbo Pascal? That was Borland. Delphi builds on many of the same aspects (consider it a "Pascal++").

The glory days of Borland are long past. Sad but true.
