Blow It Out Your Wazoo Dan - re: "If you're a PC OEM, you've seen Hammer chipset roadmaps indicating samples next quarter and volume for Q4. "

Yeah - we saw those same roadmaps LAST YEAR !!

Now, MAD just changed the YEAR from 2001 to 2002 !!

Next year, I'm sure MAD will update these same POTHOLES (= MAD RoadMap)with the year 2003 !!

If you're a PC OEM, you've seen Hammer chipset roadmaps indicating samples next quarter and volume for Q4.

An integrated roadmap, meaning it shows the CPU chipsets and the CPUs together, with detail on which ones are intended for desktop, for mobile, for workstations and for servers? This type of thing is available from Intel all the time, and it gets on the net somehow. For AMD, where is it? And, AMD's announcement early this morning only clouds it more. Even staunch AMD backers can't explain it, and they seem to spend half their life following AMD.
