"interest in the Founding Fathers" My interest stems for my curiosity on how the North part developed and the South part became banana countries.

My conclusion is that the Founding Fathers dumped everything -but British Law- and flushed the toilette. The south part kept everything the colonizers had and in fact it was just being explored by the local oligarcs/plutocrats instead of from foreign ones.

The result is here for us to see.

>>The Ellis book is really a good read<< for me the dinner occasion and the quid pro quo on capital vs national debt were quite illuminating - the brothers did a great job, even without the checks and balances yet in place, with God's grace I should say tipping the scale to positive -.

Also the late days and years of the two retired presidents...

Ellis should now write "founding sons" - about Civil war & Lincoln;
