You're not kidding! That kind of defect rate is abysmal. I wonder if your information is accurate, since I can't imagine those foundries are making any kind of money with yields that poor.

Did you notice another well know semi company that's losing money too?

Its accurate alright ... BTW, this is for .13um LowK technology.
Neither foundry is truly in production at this point ... No matter
what their marketing says. <ggg>
