Neo, you're a true American.
You have nothing to apologize for in life, afaic.
We all have our crosses to bear. Contributions th threads like this are citizen responsbilities everyone should be proud of. (Except propaganda-meisters paid by nefarious groups! If any.)

Totally misguided politically, but that's another matter<g>

Besides, my wife just told me she wants to take our daughter to "high tea" somewhere just to see what it's like.

Might be fun, who knows...

(I ain't goin' to no dam tee tho')

Hi Neo, it's interesting this strange left wing perception that every conservative must be some kind of aristocrat because they can articulate their position with clarity and logic.

The assumption seems to be, if you don't type like an idiotic and want to raise taxes to 90% of your income, you must be some kind of rich robber-barron. This perception is not only ludicrous, it's down right laughable...

Liberals who visit this thread looking for the common working man/woman to communicate with, need look no further than the conservative voices they read and don't agree with.

Lovers of the government taking more taxes, and giving us more social welfare programs typically fall into two camps. 1) Limousine liberals who feel guilty about the way they were given, or earned their money. And 2) People who see themselves as *victims* living in a deterministic paradigm unable to help themselves, so they need the nanny state to do everything for them.

The question liberals reading this thread should ask themselves is which camp you fall into?

Obviously you have not suffered like BoneAss in Austin, whose chief gripe is that George Bush was her governor for a few years, and that he's moved up a notch.

You can't imagine how much she has suffered, because it can't be articulated. Try to put yourself in her place.

How can you possibly compare her unbelievable hardship to your own challenges and those of your family?

"Hey, crazy lady, I drink iced tea out of a faded plastic cup ....etc, etc..."

So with a background like yours why are you a conservative???
