So-call stimulus bill won't do squat, if there continues to be a crisis of confidence.

You can cut taxes to the bone, but capital formation will evaporate with accounting uncertainties.
Political honesty is an issue. That affects the market and has since the election.

There is tremendous "event risk" hanging over everyone's heads combined with this uncertainty, more than I've seen in 20 years. It angers me even purely from an economic perspective that this administration arrogantly feels it can hide presidential papers, vp papers, governship papers beyond the FOIA, in the obvious hopes of avoiding more scandal.

They may avoid scandal for a few more months, but the cost to the country and economy is enormous.
