Milo, Re: "IMAGE_FILE_MACHINE_AMD64 64-bit Windows: AMD"

Have you ever programmed in C or C++, Milo?

In case you haven't, let me explain to you that the above line is simply defining a string constant within one of Microsoft's file header structures - it performs no function at all in terms of code, and it certainly doesn't mean that Microsoft plans to further port their entire code base to support the AMD x86-64 platform. Let me repeat - the above piece of code does not mean that Microsoft is supporting x86-64.

While your string constant may suggest the Microsoft is planning for a possible port in the future, it could be years before they actually allocate the resources to get the project underway. In fact, they may never get the project underway. It all depends on whether they see a market AMD's new instruction extension, and whether or not they have available resources to staff a Windows port.

Ban Ban MindBlo - you produced that one lousy crumb about 9 months ago !!

In all that time, you haven't produced one additional iota of evidence that Microsoft is even thinking about x86-64 software.

Pretty pathetic - eh, Ban Ban?
