hey I screwed up not selling at 42 the other day and left a nice 6 profit evaporate into a 2.5pt loss

Diamond H. How does one screw up? Yes, I admit that I have given back a lot of my profits but I also have posted again and again, on this and the Covered Calls for Dummies thread the necessity of hedging. I have sold covered calls all the way down from the 80's, again, and still again. It is this hedging strategy that has kept me relatively calm in the stormy seas that we have had to endure.
